A rather unproductive day here in the household but I had the opportunity to watch one of the greatest hockey games of my lifetime! What I have been trying to do lately is prepare for a move to Charleston which has spurred some house cleaning, both in the house and in the old computer. So what does that mean? It means after going through my photographs on my various harddrives… I am missing some and by some I mean a lot!!! So this reminds me that we all must be diligent in our photograph storage and back up…. especially you!!!

This weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time strolling the grounds of the summer homes of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. It is a bit humbling walking the grounds of a bona fide genius like Edison but beyond that I took some really cool pictures.

At the moment I am listening to The Honorary Title. This stuff never gets old, listen and listen good.

Hey all

Just returned from a long weekend in Ellicottville NY for their fall festival. An amazing time and an amazing town, make it a must visit if you like ski towns, mountain biking, beer, and boutiques.

Currently at work listening to Bright Eyes – Cassadaga album, sadly not named after the Cassadaga in NY where the spiritual community began but named after the Cassadaga in Florida where some moved to.

Finally, here is a photo or two of a bicycle I picked up recently and am currently restoring. These photos are pre- restoration by the way! Enjoy!

This blog has been created with the intent to post things that I am working on and interest me. My name is Brandon and I am a bike shop manager by day and artist by night. I do have a website at brandonpiercedesigns.net where you can see more of my photography and other endeavors but this will be my blog where I include works in progress and things on my mind. Before you ask, the name of the blog come from a favorite song of mine by Halloween, Alaska called “Des Moines”. They are an amazing band and worth checking out.
